Awe Auctions & Appraisals, LLC is confident that your affairs will be handled professionally through the combined efforts of Mr. Michael J. Saylor, Principal Auctioneer, and the support staff of our firm. Mr. Saylor was awarded B.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an A.A. degree from St. Petersburg College. He attended the Florida Auction School in Ocala, Florida, and was subsequently granted licensure as a Florida auctioneer. Mr. Saylor attended Cook’s Real Estate School, Clearwater, Florida, and received a Florida real estate license.
He continued his professional development by attending auction certification programs offered through the National Auctioneers Associations education institute and currently holds designations as a Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA), and Certified Estate Specialist (CES). As part of the GPPA program Mr. Saylor completed the USPAP certification program offered by The Appraisal Foundation. He is one of a hundred and fifty auctioneers in the world to hold the coveted (PRI) designation from the Professional Ringmans Institute. Mr. Saylor’s auctioneering skills were honed under the tutelage of Karlin Daniel & Associates, a nationally renowned real estate auction marketing firm, located on the Treasure Coast of Florida. While working with this national auction company, Mr. Saylor booked, managed, and worked, major auction projects throughout the state of Florida.
Mr. Saylor has a diverse business management background that allows him to listen, analyze, and formulate solutions for complex problems. He is a problem solver with a resolved work ethic, and he enjoys challenges.
Mr. Saylor proudly served in, and was honorably discharged from, the United States Air Force. He is a member in good standing with the National Auctioneers Association, and Florida Auctioneers Association. He proudly serves as President of the Seminole Historical Society and has been involved with Rotary International. Mr. Saylor, enjoys conducting benefit auctions for civic, and religious organizations, throughout the Tampa Bay area.
